Salad in a Jar (Autumn Salad)

Ingredients

of packed greens of choice
1/4
green apple sliced
Handful of pecans
1/4 cup

chopped pitted dates
If kept in fresh:
Crumbled goat cheese
optional
Chopped grilled chicken breast
optional
Balsamic vinaigrette
Dressing:
1/2
cup
olive oil
1/4
cup
balsamic vinegar
1
minced garlic clove
optional
1
teaspoon
Dijon mustard
1
teaspoon
honey
Salt and pepper
Instructions
In a mason jar, place the greens at the very bottom.
Place the remainder ingredients in the jar aside from the dressing.
When you are ready to eat, mix in homemade dressing. Enjoy!
