Alright, the open has come to an end. If you have no idea what I’ve been posting about the last 5 weeks, no worries, just skip down to the “variation” workout. If you participated in the open this year, congratulations! It’s obviously more than making it to the next level towards the Crossfit Games; it’s about accomplishing things you never thought you would. For most of us reading (+writing:)) this, participate to better our fitness and because it’s a fun time. This year, I tried my best to go at it by myself but that defeats the purpose. I missed out on communities pushing you to get that final rep. Although I’m bummed out, it made me happy seeing so many of my friends posting all of their battles and triumphs throughout the open. Again, congrats, be proud!
This week I knocked out a variation of 17.5 at a Fitness Club in Paris!
17.5 ACTUAL RX WORKOUT
10 Rounds for time:
9 Thrusters 95/65lb
35 Double Unders
17.5 VARIATION
10 Rounds for time:
9 Dumbbell Thrusters (you pick weight)
35 Jumping Jacks
This is the workout I did but if you have a jump rope, do 35 single unders. Have fun!
