My Favorite Products for Healthy Livin’!

Hey there strong people!

I wanted to share with you products that I am currently loving! While I prefer sticking to a natural food diet, so many wonderful companies have developed amazing products. Some of the products I listed are staples in my kitchen and others are healthy “real food based” snack foods. You might be familiar with some, but hopefully you see something new you can try on your next grocery store trip. While big time stores like Safeway and Target are carrying more healthy items than ever before, some of these are only found at your local natural grocery market (Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Sprouts Farmer’s Market, etc.). I included a short description of all the product and my favorite use for each one. I get nothing for sharing these products (from companies), I simply want to share things I love! I have tried and cooked with EVERY product bellow. Here we go!

  1. Big Tree Farms Organic Coconut Aminos: Use this instead of soy sauce! I love it with sashimi (I literally stuff it in my purse when we get sushi). I use it most on a stir-fry, as a marinade, and for dressings.
  2. Coconut Secret Coconut Aminos: Same food as the product above but a little sweeter. Try them both and see which one you like best, I can’t decide!
  3. Red Boat Fish Sauce: Most fish sauce found in the Asian foods section have added sugar. This hear is the real deal. I use fish sauce the when I make a Thai curry. You can also just add a few dashes on a stir fry to add some salty flavor.
  4. Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil: Primal Kitchen is one of my favorite brands ever! I love making home-made mayo with this pure avocado oil. Just add to a mason jar 3/4 cup oil, 1 room temp egg, lemon juice, salt and pepper and blend using an immersion blender. SO EASY!

  1. Epic Bone Broth: I first tried this bone broth when I had a cold during the winter. I. Loved. It. So tasty and I truly believe it healed my cold! If you can make your own great, but if you’re in a pinch, this is a great option!
  2. Native Forest Organic Coconut Milk: If you have any recipe that calls for coconut cream, buy the full fat version. Whipped cream, curry, or a homemade creamy dressing, this is the perfect product.
  3. Tajin Classic Seasoning: This stuff is gold! I love it on almost any fruit or sprinkle it on cucumbers + lime juice! Trust me!
  4. Primal Kitchen Mayo: Primal Kitchen is one of my favorite brands! This mayo has no added sugars, is made with only avocado oil, and cage-free eggs. It is perfect for tuna salads, deviled eggs, and dressings!

  1. Wild Planet Canned Tuna: Wild Planet offers quality seafood that is sustainably caught! A lot of other canned fished contain soy and other unpronounceable ingredients.
  2. Thai Kitchen Red Curry Paste: If you are looking for flavor, this curry paste is it! I love thai food and Thai Kitchen has some products that make it easy to cook healthy. I add this to any curry dish!
  3. Wild Planet Wild Sardines: Just like the tuna, these sardines are top quality. If you are a sardine lover, this brand is amazing!
  4. Kite Hill Cream Cheese Spread: WARNING, THIS PRODUCT WILL MAKE YOU EAT ALL THE VEGGIES. If you are lactose intolerant or don’t include dairy in your diet, and you miss cream cheese, TRY THIS NOW. Kite Hill has various other products including a plain cream cheese and dairy free-yogurts.

  1. Justin’s Classic Almond Butter: Although this particular Justin’s brand product is probably the most expensive, it is worth it! Almond butter is a staple in my pantry and this brand is pure almonds!
  2. Organic Valley Ghee: Ghee is basically pure fat. Most of the dairy is extracted and what’s left, is used as a high temp cooking fat. Recipes that call fro butter, can usually be replaces with ghee.
  3. Farmhouse Culture Organic Kraut: You either love it or hate it. I LOVE IT. From the health benefits of fermented foods, to the sour taste, kraut (especially Farmhouse Culture) is the best. TIP: to get the full health benefits of Kraut, it must be found in the refrigerated section, stay away from canned.
  4. So Delicious Coconut Milk: Another brand to make delicious curry OR use it like a dairy-free creamer like I do! Doesn’t have any added sugars.

  1. Inka Chips Plantain Chips: Alright, I am obsessed with plantain chips. I have been known to pop these out at Mexican restaurants and at family parties to much on with guacamole and salsa.
  2. gimMe Organic Roasted Seaweed: One of my favorite little snacks. This seaweed is so tasty and the perfect crunchy snack.
  3. Epic Pork Crackling: If you grew up in a Mexican household, you have had chicharrones at some point in your life. Well, EPIP has made some killer chicharrones. This maple bacon flavor is AMAZING.
  4. Jackson’s Honest Sweet Potato Chips: Most chips on the market are made with canola oil, no bueno. This brand has several variety of potato chips all cooked in coconut oil! They are the best!

  1. Synergy Organic Kombucha: Just like Kraut, Kombucha is a fermented food (drink) that helps keep your gut healthy! No added sugars and like many things, you either love it or hate it. Don’t shake! (I learned that the hard way)
  2. Rebbl Cold Brew: I tried this on a recent trip and IT IS SO DELICIOUS. Not sugar free but it’s sweetened with coconut sugar and stevia extract. This flavor has all organic ingredients and other flavors are protein packed. Like a coffee protein drink (whaaat??!!).
  3. LARABAR: One of my favorite bars to snack on. The sugar comes from the dates and they don’t have any weird stuff in them. So good!
  4. RX Bar: You all already know I love RX Bars. Obviously they still have a bit of sugar that comes from the dates, but a great snack if you’re in a pinch.

  1. Siete Almond Flour Tortillas: More than the tortillas themselves, I LOVE  this company. They are such a sweet family that was founded on supporting one family member’s fight against an autoimmune disease. FIND THEIR CHIPS TOO!
  2. Cappello’s Gnocchi: Okay, this product might be pricey, but it is so worth it! Make your own red sauce and through it on this delicious gnocchi. They also have lasagna sheets, pizza crust/frozen pizza, and cookie dough!
  3. Applegate Naturals Cold Meats: For the most part, Applegate Naturals offer healthier alternatives to things like, salami, hot dogs, and many other cold meats. Some of their products still have added sugars but a better option than other brands.
  4. Primal Kitchen Ranch Dressing: The last of the Primal Kitchen products on here, their dressings. My favorite is the ranch. SO TASTY. Aside from salads, I use it to dip veggies.
