3 Easy Homemade Dressings

Hello!

I used to think making homemade dressings was complicated. Spoiler alert, it’s not. In fact, it’s as easy as throwing ingredients in a jar, and shaking it up.

These 3 easy dressings are the ones I most frequently make. You can get creative with different flavor dressings so long as you have some sort of oil and usually some vinegar or citrus.

Although I love all of these, my favorite is the Sesame Ginger dressing. The flavors are perfect. I used to eat a Chinese-chicken salad sold at our cafe at Sonoma State while I was there. It was my favorite mainly because of the dressing. When I made this dressing, it brought me back to my favorite salad! It probably wasn’t made with the greatest oil and had some sugar but hey, college.

Get creative with your salads, no one likes sad boring salads! These can also be used as marinades. The sesame ginger dressing is great on salmon, skirt steak, or a stir-fry. The balsamic or the honey-mustard dressings would be great as a marinade for chicken.

Enjoy!
